Greetings from Germany
It's been almost two months since we've arrived and it’s flown by! We’ve adjusted well to our new home. We celebrated Olivia's 9th birthday, Easter and our 15th Wedding Anniversary. We've traveled to Heidelberg, Trier, Belgium, Luxembourg, Fussen, Rothenbourg and a drove about 20 miles through the outskirts of Austria. Our next big trip is to Paris. It has truly been a blessing to be here with Jorge. He’s working hard and is enjoying his job.

Things we miss the most: our family & friends, our pets, our house, my bed, our refrigerator, my pots and pans, my washer and dryer, ICE, my electric can opener, using a public bathroom for free, tex-mex food, St. Jude, Marriage Encounter, our new pool that we haven't used, our doctors, towel racks, our closets, our yard, my garden, our favorite TV shows, Wal-Mart, free water (we paid 2 Euro for a glass of TAP water!) and EMAILS FROM OUR DEAR FRIENDS AND FAMILY BACK HOME!

Things that we like the best: The different culture, our new friends, Jorge’s commute to work (10 minutes), the food (a little too much), the beer & wine (again, a little too much), THE INCREDIBLE VIEWS, (mountains, trees, beautiful flowers) the Autobahn (I got to 110 on our last trip) ,base privileges and being able to travel to different countries in a very short time.

We hope you all are doing well and would love to hear from you. Stay healthy, we're praying for you!

Love & Hugs,
JCLO
